3.15 billion people in the world
live without access to the gospel.
That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority of these people live in the 10/40 window, an area of the world where Jesus' name has never been proclaimed. Not only does no access to the gospel mean there are no churches or no translations of the Bible in the national language, but the lack of access means souls are going without hearing.
But access to the gospel means salvation - a new opportunity to life - it is everything.
The 10/40 Window
The 10/40 window is a rectangular area which covers North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The vast majority of the world’s Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists live within the 10/40 window, and is home to some of the largest people groups in the world.
The 10/40 is the least evangelized part of the world, and our work is right in the middle of it.
42% of the world's population is considered "Unreached." This means that people - souls - just like you and I are living their lives without ever hearing the name of Jesus. This is an epidemic that we as an organization are giving our lives to see resolved.
Today there are 1,347 Unengaged, Unreached People Groups who still haven't heard the gospel. These approximately 41 million people are spiritually lost, like sheep having no Shepherd. Among them Christ remains unknown, unacknowledged, and unfamous.
“The unreached have little to no access to the story and person of Jesus. No churches. No followers of Jesus. No one telling them - YET.”
The Great Commission
In the final moments of His earthly ministry, Jesus could have said anything to His disciples - that moment was epic. However, in His last address to His disciples and those who had followed His ministry for years, the risen Lord Jesus gave this imperative: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you ..."
- Matthew 28
The Lord is committed to His name being made famous across the earth (Malachi 1:11). We are committed to taking this gospel message to the nations, tribes, and tongues that have not yet heard it as a continuation of the book of Acts. We believe that Jesus is the only way, truth, and life. Our zeal for Jesus and the keys to freedom from death and defeat that lies within Him provokes us to make Him known - to the nationals by the nationals, in the mother tongue.
This is a holy task that we are committed to.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
